Majority shareholder Mike Ashley also owns Newcastle United football club
Sports Direct has reported a big jump in sales and profits after what the retailer's chief executive Dave Forsey said was a "record-breaking year".
Annual pre-tax profits rose 40% to £207.2m, on sales up 30% to £2.19bn.
Mr Forsey said sales in the first half of the financial year had benefitted from the Olympics and football's European Championships.
The 400-store retailer, 64%-owned by Mike Ashley, has seen its shares rise more than 40% over the past year.
